Under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician reviews prescription orders for completeness and data enters prescription information into the pharmacy management system in preparation for pharmacist verification. The incumbent obtains missing patient and/or prescriber demographic information when necessary. The incumbent may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician is expected to have a positive attitude and work well in a collaborative environment.
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, data enter prescription information in the pharmacy management system for prescriptions received by Careform Pharmacy in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with internal standard operating procedures and standard pharmacy practice.
Collaborate with team members in the hub to create and maintain efficient workflow to meet schedules and quality requirements.
Receive inbound calls from patients or prescribers and assist with information regarding prescription status.
Contact healthcare provider offices by phone or fax to obtain missing patient and/or prescriber demographic information when necessary.
To maximize utilization during periods when pharmacists are not validating Careform Pharmacy scripts, support activities such as reviewing inbound faxes for adverse events and entering cases for Entyvio, entering benefit information from the Careviso portal into BV Wizard for TG, following up with payers on prior authorization or appeals statuses for TG, Sun, or Ferring, and supporting Sun Pharma through the Maxor-Zeal transition.

Time-Off & Holidays: ConnectiveRx provides paid time off (PTO) to non-exempt employees for vacations and personal leave. Employees also receive eight standard company holidays and three floating holidays annually, with floating holidays prorated in the first year.
