Overview

ConnectiveRx's marketing and communications team is award-winning. We're growing the team with people who want to collaborate, contribute, and collectively keep raising the bar. We’re looking for a digital marketer who builds programs that perform, not just campaigns that launch. This role owns the company's full paid and organic digital presence across social, search, email, and AI-native channels, with real budget authority and direct accountability to the VP of Brand Marketing and Communications. The audiences are specific: pharmaceutical manufacturers, media agencies serving pharma, and pharma commercialization consultants. The expectation is that you know how to reach them, convert them, and prove it. You'll have the backing of two specialized agency partners: one dedicated to creative, and one focused on digital execution that you'll co-manage, giving you the resources and the relationships to move fast and produce work that's built to perform.

About us: being on medication is tough enough. We want to make getting it the easy part. Getting prescriptions to patients has become increasingly complex. When things get messy along the prescription journey, pharmaceutical manufacturers rely on us to untangle the process and create a clear path—allowing patients to build trusting relationships with their medication brands.

About you: an initiative-taking digital marketer who is comfortable working independently, moving work forward with clarity and ownership, and bringing a strong point of view to campaign strategy, performance analysis, and optimization. You are also a master collaborator who eagerly consults your team to understand stratagies and narratives. Across the company, you'll navigate different departments, audiences, and stakeholder needs--translating input into smart digital programs that are aligned, actionable, and built to drive measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Performance Marketing and Audience Targeting - Own the strategy and execution of organic and paid campaigns across LinkedIn and Meta — with every program mapped to a clear brand awareness, demand generation, or ABM objective tied to annual KPIs. This includes audience targeting, content programming, budget management, and ongoing optimization across channels. Track and report on campaign performance to VP, CMO, and stakeholder teams on a defined cadence. Show clear attribution to outcomes, identify opportunities, and deliver a point of view on what to do next. Collaborate with recruiting to maintain and evolve ConnectiveRx's employer brand presence on relevant digital platforms with the goal of strengthening our positioning in key talent markets.

Embed Competitive Intelligence Into Content Strategy - Maintain the strength of ConnectiveRx’s messaging position in the pharmaceutical commercialization market via continuous competitive assessment of ads and campaigns (using Similarweb or other tools). Work with VP and CMO to revise content strategy, as needed, to ensure we’re delivering a differentiated message to our three core audiences.

Paid Search and Display Advertising - Lead the strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization of paid search and display campaigns on Google Ads and other platforms in the CRx stack. Own keyword research, bidding strategy, and audience targeting decisions with a focus on maximizing ROI across brand awareness, ABM, and lead generation objectives. This person is expected to connect budget to outcomes — not just report impressions, but demonstrate what the investment drove. Share performance analysis and strategic recommendations with VP and CMO regularly, flagging both what's working and where reallocation or creative changes are warranted.

SEO - Develop and implement SEO strategies that drive organic visibility for ConnectiveRx's corporate and product content across search engine results pages. Partner with internal subject matter experts and content stakeholders to ensure published content is structured, tagged, and optimized to rank for the terms and queries our target audiences are actually using. Maintain ongoing keyword research, conduct regular content audits, and track performance using tools including Google Search Console, Similarweb, and GA4. Report findings and recommendations to the Brand teams on a defined cadence and implement solutions.

AEO and GEO - Own ConnectiveRx's Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy, ensuring our brand and product content is accurately and highly discoverable in AI-generated responses across LLM tools. This includes auditing how our content performs in AI-driven search environments, identifying gaps in visibility or accuracy, and working with content and web stakeholders to apply optimization like schema markup and passage-level optimization. Track performance using available dashboards and reporting tools, and bring forward clear recommendations on where and how to improve our presence in AI-native search.

Lead Conversion and Tracking Tools – Develop all forms and landing pages for gated content projects, establish a tracked link taxonomy that supports the measurement of all digital assets in market.

Email Marketing and Audience Nurture - Own ConnectiveRx's email marketing program from strategy through performance — starting with a full audit of current campaigns, cadence, and results across all active audience segments. This is an opportunity to reassess and rebuild: visual presentation, copy approach, segmentation logic, and how well existing programs are measurably reaching and engaging the right people. Working with our agency, develop and produce email programs that serve both broad audience nurture and targeted ABM or opportunity-specific outreach. Manage performance rigorously and bring a clear point of view on what the data is telling us and what to do about it.

Additional Job Responsibilities -

  • Actively track developments in B2B digital marketing and AI-driven search — evaluating and adopting tools that meaningfully improve campaign performance, audience targeting, or reporting efficiency, and bringing forward recommendations with a clear rationale.
  • Work with external agencies and vendors to scope and execute initiatives outside core agency partnerships, ensuring all deliverables meet brand and compliance standards.
  • Develop fluency in ConnectiveRx's compliance and stakeholder review processes and apply that knowledge to campaign planning. Build timelines and workflows that keep digital programs moving without creating compliance risk.
