Director, Dev Ops Architect

ConnectiveRX is seeking a Director, DevOps Architecture to join our architecture team. This person will be a business and technology leader with a proven track record of success in driving DevOps principles for Engineering teams.

ConnectiveRx’s products and services comprise a diverse set of offerings spanning the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical tech spaces. We work with manufacturers, health care professionals, insurance providers, and patients to break down barriers to treatment, leveraging a combination of personal interaction and software-enabled solutions.

As the Director of DevOps Architecture, you will manage the overall DevOps practices within the organization. You will devise the strategic planning, budgeting, architecture and guiding principles for the organization’s DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, tools and cross-team collaboration that align with the company’s long-term goals. As the director, you are someone who will build these tool sets out as needed and work with a team of DevOps Architects to realize the DevOps vision.

You will work closely with full stack developers, QA analysts, infrastructure, and product management on delivery automation, engineering tools, supporting services and streamlining the CI/CD pipelines that will provide the teams with greater agility across the organization.

Your Day to Day:

• Lead the design and collaborate with teams to create and manage an automated DevOps build/deploy pipeline which delivers tooling for current and next generation application development.
• Streamline operations and business processes through automation and AI.
• Build, maintain and monitor configuration management, automation, and scripting tools to ensure high availability of services.
• Provide technical guidance and educate teams on CI/CD, development, and operations accelerators.
• Implement robust security measures at all stages of the CI/CD pipeline to safeguard sensitive data.
• Partner with Architecture team members on continuous improvement for coding standards, architecture documentation, and roadmap development.
• Identify and build accelerators for base engineering services that support engineering teams.
• Build and implement fitness functions to ensure compliance with Architectural standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure development efforts are optimized for performance, resiliency, and redundancy.
• Perform reviews of your team members, budgeting and strategic planning.
• Be hands on as needed.

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Software Architecture, DevOps, or System Design.
• Minimum 8 years of managing a team of varying levels in an agile environment.
• Proficiency in automation tools, cloud services and scripting languages.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and hands on experience building solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and communicate effectively.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting and problem-solving in complex environments.
• Familiarity with AI and prompting.
• Bachelors or higher Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
