The Sr. Business Analyst, Technical Product Management- Pharmacy will work closely with our Pharmacy team, product managers, developers, QA, project managers, operational experts, clients, and external vendors. In this role, you will drive the delivery of industry-leading capabilities by supporting the development of integrated solutions within our non-dispensing pharmacy. You will be responsible for managing business and technical requirements from an initial discovery through delivery—ensuring alignment with ConnectiveRx’s strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of software development processes, strong vendor management capabilities, and technical expertise in pharmacy systems, controlled substances and REMs management. 

Responsibilities

Discovery & Requirements Gathering

  • Lead business requirements discussions with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners
  • Develop and document end-to-end process flows, including actors, inputs, outputs, and dependencies
  • Write clear use cases, user stories to ensure all software requirements, specifications and acceptance criteria are clearly defined

Technical Analysis

  • Analyze and document both business and technical requirements, including, but not limited to, script standards, pharmacy data elements (prescription, patient, drug details, etc), REMs requirements and statuses
  • Create technical documentation, including API specifications / field mappings, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams
  • Map and validate data fields across inbound and outbound systems, collaborating with development teams for accuracy and integration

Refinement & Delivery

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for requirement-related questions throughout the development lifecycle
  • Refine features in collaboration with technology, operations, and product
  • Act as a subject matter expert and support the development of business user training materials; assist in end-user training efforts

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business analysis experience in software development
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacy systems / pharmacy technology
  • Expertise with pharmacy systems, including script standard, controlled substance and REMs requirements
  • Hands-on experience with APIs (including orchestration layers, JSON) and technical specification documentation
  • Background in Pharmacy system technical integrations a must
  • Proven success in collaborating with clients, vendors, developers, architects, and cross-functional teams
  • Adhere to all Company Policies, Procedures, and other training consistent with ConnectiveRx's Information Security and Compliance Programs, including but not limited to the following compliances and regulations: SOC1, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA
  •  Maintain strict compliance with company and client policies regarding business rules and ethics, as well as applicable local, state and national federal laws

Compensation & Benefits:  This position offers opportunities for a bonus (or commissions), with total compensation varying based on factors such as location, relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.

Time-Off & Holidays:  ConnectiveRx provides a flexible paid time off (PTO) policy for exempt employees, covering sick days, personal days, and vacations. PTO is determined based on an employee’s first year of service. Employees also receive eight standard company holidays and three floating holidays annually, with prorations applied in the first year.

Posted Salary Range

USD $80,500.00 - USD $118,400.00 /Yr.
